Last week i was travelling in a panvel bound local train......there were hardly any soul in the first class ladies compartment.....A girl boarded the train from Seawoods station......she was a student which was readily expressed by her attire...may be a junior college student....
She came and occupied the seat on the other side to where i was sitting....removed a book..an apple...started reading and eating.....
But one thing she did annoyed me to the core of the word.....she put her feet on the seat with her shoes on.....anger was my very first expression....second i was thinking how do i make her aware of her indecent act.....
My mind was battling and she got up to alight at Belapur....
Then i said its high time,i got to speak to her...and....
"Excuse me lady??u spoilt the seat...".....back came a reply with action...."SORRY!!"and she wiped it with her scarf....smiled at me....i winked at her....Smiles all over and a sense of pride...!!!
More than being proud i felt a certain sense of satisfaction and mirth.....

Cheers!!!My Engineering days!!!......
Huff...!!!Finally done with the last paper of BE...Happy Independence Day to all my fellow prisoners/strugglers/companions/friends/etc....hehehehe;-)
Now no more bunking lectures,
signing undertaking(100% attendence....its too much,violation of students' rights..:-( ......),
late night completions(just xeroxing from past year's scrap),
no GTs(enjoyed it very much;o) ...)
dozing off in the class(i used to...hahaha...shhh...secret;-D ...),
no standing in queues for submissions,no one night fights any more....
no more struggling for the dream 40....
At the same time the fun is also skidding from life,the free spirit just rolling away,the confidence that world is at our foot steps.......
sipping hot tea in the canteen be it rain or hot and boiling summer,
playing Uno....cards(Not at home,rummy..sorry bad at remembering their names;-) ....),
MAFIA any one........???!!!!
Slowly the friends seem to be like fast receding trees viewed from a fast moving vehicle of time............................
The dreams being replaced by tensions,future security plans,anxieties...and what not....
The future seeming bright for some...blank for some...undecided for many...and uncertain for all.....
We are stepping out into the rude,insensitive,unknown,insecure,ruthless world....from a little harsh,irritating but protective and our very own world of college.......
ALL THE BEST... to all my mates.....!!!!!!!take on the world with confidence....Rock on!!!!
